Attractions & Points of Interest
Midtown is the proud home of author Margaret Mitchell, and the house in which she grew up has been completely restored and is open to the public. Further on down Peachtree Street, you'll find the fabulous Fox Theater, Atlanta's home of Broadway productions and other fine performances; Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, the largest orchestra is Southeastern United States; and the Woodruff Art Center. Other theaters grace Midtown with their art, including several dinner theaters and other more locally-run houses.

While finding one single crown jewel in Midtown to boast about is difficult, certainly no description of Midtown would be complete without mentioning Piedmont Park and the Atlanta Botanical Gardens. This wonderfully designed park sits in the very heart of Midtown and hosts numerous festivals throughout the year. Even when no calendar events are scheduled, it's a favorite location of neighborhood residents to walk dogs, roller blade or just to sit back and people watch. The Atlanta Botanical Gardens, located right next to Piedmont Park, provides a dazzling walkway through gardens that capture the perfect elegance of Mother Nature's best works!

Midtown is clearly an ideal location for the person who wants nothing less than the absolute best of everything that Atlanta life has to offer. In sharp contrast to the energy that its retail stores, restaurants, theaters, nightlife facilities and other amenities offer, the neighborhood streets offer a peaceful and stately array of stunning homes.
